  • What are your rates?

We have a $125 dollar driveway cleaning special for most concrete driveways. This price is good for up to 1200 SQ FT of concrete, (Paver driveways would be more). In most cases, we also include cleaning a reasonable amount of adjoining sidewalk, curbing and front door area. For larger commercial jobs, Eagle Pressure Wash is happy to extend a FREE, on-site evaluation of the project so that we can give you the most personalized quote possible.

  • What can affect how much my pressure washing project should cost?

Is water accessible at the site for our equipment? What type of siding or what kind of wood is any decking made from? Has it been sealed? Different types of terrain or landscaping can also sometimes affect the price, since we may need additional equipment or have to take extra steps to protect your plants. Another factor is the degree of buildup. For example, it's possible that your house could have a moderate amount of dirt, grime, mold or algae and can be cleaned in half the time as a house the same size that has a more aggressive buildup. Whatever the case, Eagle Pressure Wash will send an expert to properly determine how much cleaning is required and to measure correctly.

  • Will there be additional charges?

No. Unless you request new work to be added outside the original estimate, your cost is given to you up front and that's what you pay. Disreputable companies will focus on under-bidding everyone and then up-charging at the end to make up the difference or talking customers into extra options which can be expensive. Please beware of this practice. Eagle Pressure Wash's quoting process is designed to make sure you don't get over-charged and that we can perform the work at a reasonable profit. Your estimate will be prepared by a quality, licensed and bonded contractor who quotes you accurately and honestly and won't upset you with any unpleasant additional charges you didn't count on.

  • Should I hire the company with the lowest estimate?

Maybe, but be careful. As mentioned above, it's a common marketing strategy for some inexperienced new business GMs or disreputable contractors to get jobs by bidding intentionally low. These individuals will be forced to cut corners to make a profit and can end up trying to pressure you into paying up to double once they get there. The bottom line is you get what you pay for, use common sense and evaluate what’s best for your situation.

  • How fast can you get it done?

In many cases, Eagle Pressure Wash can have a hard surface cleaning tech on site within 24-48 hours. Work can often be scheduled next day, within the week or at your convenience. You can request a FREE estimate by clicking here, or call (877) 875-9274 from 9-5, M-F EST.

  • Can I do the work myself?

Of course, but we don't recommend it! Pressure washing external hard surfaces can seem like a pretty straightforward project to tackle for the novice do-it-yourselfer, but please consider the following before purchasing consumer-grade pressure washing equipment.
In addition to the initial cost of consumer-grade equipment, consider that you can easily cause injury to yourself and damage to your home if you're not careful. Pressure-washing from a ladder can be especially risky to anyone who isn't used to the recoil-like force of power-washing equipment. Also, power washing your vinyl siding from the ground at the wrong angle most often forces water behind siding, which can cause severe water damage.
Choosing the right amount of pressure (if the unit purchased is adjustable) and using the correct cleaning solutions in the right proportions without damaging plants and the surfaces themselves are other points to consider. Incorrectly mixed or undiluted chemicals can damage or kill expensive plants and areas of lawn when not covered or properly rinsed. Our suggestion, Eagle Pressure Wash is quite affordable and we'll get it done for you without hassle, on-time and for the price we quote, no sweat.

  • What areas does Eagle Pressure Wash serve?

Eagle Pressure Wash proudly offers pressure washing services throughout the Space Coast. Whether your home or business is in Cape Canaveral, Merritt Island, Cocoa Beach or Palm Bay, we are here to service your cleaning needs.

  • Will pressure washing damage my house or cause my paint to start peeling?

Not if it's properly done. Eagle Pressure Wash's cleaning process can extend your paint's life by safely removing mold, mildew and other elements that actively degrade your paint and cause it to fade permanently.

  • What kind of equipment should be used?

Pressure washing should only be done with the proper equipment. Using only water, the wrong detergent solution or wrong pressure can just spread the mold, mildew or algae and actually cause it to grow back faster. To really KILL mold, algae and/or mildew for the longest period possible, the proper combination of pressure and detergent treatment is needed. Secondly, every six to twelve months, you need to set up a maintenance schedule for Eagle Pressure Wash to come out and keep it from growing back. Maintenance touch-ups is much more cost-effective than allowing mold, mildew and algae to re-colonize your exterior spaces and grow back into a big job. without harming your home or business investment.

  • Will the cleaning agents used hurt my pets?

Depending on the job, solvents might not be required (or only in small quantities). Eagle Pressure Wash uses only environmentally-friendly products that won't harm your pets.

  • Can cleaning harm my grass and landscaping?

If not done properly, yes. A detergent is added to the water that kills the algae, which can potentially harm plants. As a result, cleaner should never be allowed to dry on leaves. Eagle Pressure Wash takes the time to protect your landscaping. Using a plastic cover is one option, but that can also be damaging to plants during the summer or on a very hot day. Spraying-down plants with water at intervals during the cleaning process (and after) is usually the best way to protect plants. As long as cleaners are not allowed to dry on the plants, damage will be avoided.

  • Will pressure washing damage my screens on my lanai/pool area?

Not if it’s done with the right amount of pressure and appropriate wash to remove that terrible green! Having mold, mildew and/or algae removed from your lanai or screened enclosures will look great and provide a healthier environment for your family, but it will also help reduce algae growth in your pool. Eagle Pressure Wash can also get rid of those annoying pine needles that get stuck in your lanai.

  • Will pressure washing damage my pool deck or brick pavers?

No. Eagle Pressure Wash's cleaning process creates a healthier environment for your family and can extend your pool area paint's life by removing mold, mildew and other elements that actively degrade paint pigment and cause it to fade permanently. Regarding pavers, we use a surface cleaner orbital disk that allows us to water jet the surface at an angle instead of directly into the cracks of your pool deck and pavers. This allows us to avoid power-washing the sand out of the grout lines of your pavers.

  • Is high pressure the only way to get it clean?

No. An experienced Eagle Pressure Wash tech will choose the right treatment for the issue. They will choose and mix the correct contractor-grade cleaner and choose the precise amount of pressure. If the wrong cleaning agent or strength is not used, or if too much pressure is used, the following can occur:

    1. Mold can be forced into areas behind siding and simply move the problem into an area that's even more difficult or impossible to clean.
    2. Strip and scar wood, leaving marks on your deck that will still show through any sealer.
    3. Blast an asphalt-shingled-roof washes off the fine granules of protective grit from the shingles, leaving your roof damaged.

  • My roof has black streaks on it. What's going on?

It's a bad sign, but Eagle Pressure Wash can help.

Those ugly black streaks on your asphalt shingles are caused by Gloeocapsa magma, a very resilient and destructive algae. It thrives in warm, humid climates like Florida's and usually starts growing first on the northern slope of a roof, where the shade and damp provide ideal conditions for it to grow and spread. This algae actually feeds on the crushed limestone in the asphalt shingles. Rainfall washes the algae down the roof, causing black streaks.

Next, the algae begin to break down the shingles until the granules that protect the top of the shingle become loosened and fall off. These granules help reflect light and, once gone, are broken down further by having to absorb the light and heat instead of reflecting it.

  • Can you clean my roof without damaging it?

Yes. Roof algae (Gloeocapsa magma) can be killed and removed to restore your roofs appearance. It must be caught in time (before your shingles are completely eaten up by the mold.) The correct cleaners and LOW PRESSURE is a must, so that the asphalt-shingled roof is freed of algae without causing more damage by blasting off the shingles protective granulated coating.

  • Do I need a new roof?

Hopefully, no. If caught in time, Eagle Pressure Wash can often help prevent the expensive cost of a new roof. Click here or call us as soon as possible to request a FREE on-site evaluation.

  • Can cleaning my roof save me money?

Yes. Cleaning damaging algae that can actually eat your shingles can save you money in cooling your home and can also save you thousands of dollars by extending its life while increasing your home's curb appeal.

  • How often do I need to have pressure washing or sealing done?

Eagle Pressure Wash recommends having us out for a FREE checkup of your home's outer walls, entryway and pool deck every 6-months for a possible touch-up (which takes less time and less money to maintain).

An annual treatment for driveways, screen enclosures and pool decking is a good idea. Your roof can go two-five years, depending on its age, weather, location and the amount of shade and moisture. If you see any black streaks, call Eagle Pressure Wash at (877) 875-9274 right away or click here to request a FREE estimate online.
